Experience the biggest film premiere ever with dozens of astronauts
On October 4th, the Ziggo Dome will be all about space and the beauty of our planet during a unique interactive event where André Kuipers will receive dozens of international astronauts. Presenters Humberto Tan and Anna Gimbrère will ask the astronauts all sorts of questions and give the audience a special insight into their extraterrestrial experiences. André Kuipers’ debut film “Beyond: Ode to the Earth” will also receive the biggest Dutch film premiere ever with a screening on a 22-meter-wide film screen.
Space talk & film premiere
Presenters Humberto Tan and Anna Gimbrère will receive André Kuipers and his fellow astronauts in Ziggo Dome and lead an interactive ‘space talk’ in which the astronauts share their unforgettable experiences with all who are present. Everyone in the audience will also have the opportunity to submit one pressing question in advance when purchasing a ticket via Ticketmaster, which may be answered on October 4. After the Spacetalk, Ziggo Dome will be transformed into the largest cinema in the Netherlands and visitors will be taken on an enchanting journey into space with Beyond: Ode to the Earth, André Kuipers’ directorial debut.

Beyond: Ode to the Earth is an immersive sound & vision experience in which image and music seamlessly connect and provide an enchanting cinema experience for young and old. The world-famous Greek musician, composer, songwriter and producer Vangelis (known for his famous film music for Chariots of Fire, Blade Runner, 1492: Conquest of Paradise and Alexander) and good friend of André, worked with Kuipers on the film with great enthusiasm until his death.
Beyond contains no fewer than 40 songs from Vangelis’ rich oeuvre that spans six decades. In addition, Armin van Buuren produced a cover of Vangelis’ track Pulstar especially for Beyond, which will be released as a single on 27 September.
The musical film experience Beyond, in which André shows the infinite beauty of our earth, is experienced in a unique way thanks to the ear-catching music of Vangelis, the energetic beats of Armin van Buuren and the immense cinema screen in Ziggo Dome. Truly a unique experience!
